What's the deal with Detective McKesson?
Since some have asked, I thought I would give you some "behind the scenes" information about this character who is growing in popularity. He appears first in the second book of the Seeker Series, Blood of Silver. Yes, he also appears in Deadly Weapon, a crime book that also takes place in Las Vegas. He is supposed to be the same person, but chronologically, I would place Deadly Weapon first. (I will warn readers here that unlike the Seeker Series, Deadly Weapon targets a more adult audience. That's not to say you won't enjoy both, but whereas the Seeker Series is "PG", and Deadly Weapon is "R", if you get my meaning.)
Detective McKesson is a dark hero at best, and certainly not a traditional "good guy". He's a true rogue, a hard-boiled cop who's rough around the edges. He will appear again in Blood of Flame, and possibly star in his own Urban Fantasy series at some point after that.
He's a creature of my imagination that created himself, I have to admit. I just had a guy come to someone's door one day, and zap, McKesson was born. He's always had a tendency to steal every scene he's in, and I had an immediate affinity for him. His story is not yet finished, and I'm as curious as you are how it will turn out.

The Seeker Series

Blood of Gold is a novel of paranormal romance and suspense. The book is 90,000 words long, 380 pages in print form. Blood of Silver is Book #2 in the Seeker Series. Blood of Ice is the third book. Look for it in 2011.
